We woke this morning, turned on our hot water heater and …nothing. My Andy went into fix it mode, found the problem, and the hot water heater started to work again – :-))). He still needs another part and hopefully will get it this week.
Once we were up, we got ready, said our goodbyes and we were on the road again. We decided to take Vulture Mine Road to the interstate and what a pretty road it was.
Vulture Peak:
We were looking but did not find any wandering bovines – :-))):
Lots and lots of saguaros:
Vulture Mine (someday I am going to take the tour):
Thru wide valleys:
Past a new solar farm to be – this place is huge!:
The desert is coming alive with flowers – :-):
We arrived in Casa Grande around noon, had lunch and Andy went off to the parts store. Back home he fixed the water heater and we are now good.
Afterwards I went to Wal-Mart and pick up lots of supplies. And this evening we took a walk around and reconnected with folks who are still in the park. It is like coming home again – :-)).
Stats for today:
Miles Traveled: 147 Miles
Routes Traveled:
Arizona: SR-89; US-93; Vulture Mine Road; Aguila Road; Indian School Road; 339th Avenue; 1-10; SR-85; I-8; Montgomery Road
