February 2–9, 2022 Traveling and Staying in Florida

It was so nice at the Tallahassee Moose that we decided to stay four nights.  The area was nice and we met some great folks at the Lodge as well as folks staying for a few nights.  It was fun.

On Saturday, 5th, we woke to another beautiful day and headed south.  Notice the pine trees along the road – many tree farms in this part of Florida.

Our stop for tonight was the Fanning Springs Moose Lodge.  Our site:

Travels for Saturday, February 5th:

Miles Traveled: 124 Miles

On Sunday, we woke to rain and had rain most of the day.  (Sorry no travel pictures.)  We continued our travels to Wauchula, Florida.  We purchased a lot in this Escapee Co-op Park last year and this is the first time we are on our lot.

Miles Traveled:  199 Miles

With the exception of one rainy day, the weather has been beautiful – High 60’s to mid 70’s during the day – my kind of weather.

We will be here until mid/late March and then start the trek north.  I will update occasionally and more if we do touristy things.  Until then, enjoy today.

February 1, 2022 Travel to Florida

Happy February to all..

After packing up, we left the Rainbow Plantation and headed east to Florida:

We made our way to the Tallahassee Moose Lodge where we have another beautiful site.  We have water and electric with a dump on site for $10.00.

After setting up, we went to the lodge where we paid for two nights.  We met a few members and played bar bingo – how fun!  Great time.

So we are not sure how long we are staying.  At the latest, we will leave here on Saturday and stay at a Moose Lodge along the way.  On Sunday we will head to our lot in Wauchula Florida where we will be for about 6 weeks.

So how are the kitties doing with travel and the new rig?  They are adjusting.  I think every travel day, they find a new place to hid until we stop – LOL!

So how are we doing with the new rig?  Well we are slowly getting use to it.  And of course finding ways to make life easier in a smaller space – LOL!
