Today our journey took us on the Queen’s Garden / Navajo Loop Hike. It was a total of 3 miles with elevation changes (320’ down and 521’ up).
We parked our car at Sunset Point, walked 0.5 miles on the rim trail to Sunrise Point. It was early morning and the hoodoos looked like they were glowing.
It was 0.9 miles to the Queen’s Garden (320’ descent) along a nice path:
It truly was a walk among the hoodoos:
Andy is in the middle of the path - these hoodoos are HUGE:
We arrived at the Queens’s Garden:
Can you see the Queen?
Another benchmark :
We continued onto the connecting path to the Navajo Loop - See Part 2.
