We decided to continue our road trip in the National Forest up to Jacob Lake. The clouds are rolling in...
So now we know why there are so many fenced in lakes in the meadows:

We made it up to Jacob Lake, checked out the Kaibab National Forest Visitor Center and then headed back - it was starting to rain - 
What a treat to see the mule deer.
This gal was so excited to see us, she was jumping for joy - 
Back home the rain continued so we read, had supper and watched a little TV. (I am missing my internet access.)
