Our travels today took us through more of the Tennessee Mountains and then rolling hills on the way to Nashville. We arrived about 1 PM at the Nashville Country RV Park near Millersville – about 15 miles north of center city Nashville.
After setting up, we headed to Broadway Street in downtown Nashville. A part of this street is where many of the country stars get their start. There are quite a few bar/restaurants where artists play for tips. Three of these have music all day – a different musician or band every two hours – how neat is that. We were told that if you don’t like what you hear, walk to the next place.
So we started at Second Fiddle and then ended up at Rippy’s – what a great time. (Rippy’s had some great ribs!) We only stayed for the one band at Second Fiddle but they were great singing some old and new country songs. I think we would have stayed longer in town if we were not so tired.
Until tomorrow!
