Thank you Sue for a wonderful week.
It went much, much, too fast but I am so grateful that we had this time together to get caught up. Gosh, I have missed her and it was like we just picked up where we left off. We laughed and laughed and cried and hugged and laughed some more. We told old stories to her son, daughter in law, and good friend Carrie. And her husband’s spirit was with us a good portion of the time. We sure do miss him.
We did a little touring around the area. One day we took a ride into the mountains/National Forest behind her place.

So many memories in this Jeep:
What a view:
Oh no, someone’s goats got out:
Sue’s house – the views are spectacular from her place:
An old farm:
Another day we went to McCall to see the Lake, the town, and have lunch. On the way:

Still buds after all these years.
Notice these green flags and if you look across the street you will see more. When you want to cross, you pick up a flag, go across on the crosswalk and place it on the other side. What a great way for the drivers to see you and stop.
Such a cute town:
Storm coming in on the way home:
When I posted on Facebook where I was going, Kim contacted me. She is staying about an hour from Council. Sue and I met her at Bead Week and at Benson and we crossed paths a few times in our travels. So one day we met her in Council and had a great time getting to know each other a little better and getting caught up. Hopefully we will see each other later this season.
Thank you Sue for a great week and hopefully we will see each other later this season and make new stories.
Tomorrow we are heading west so stay tuned and enjoy today.
