We left our beautiful little spot at Cape Blanco and headed south along the coast. I never get tired of seeing these stacks and the ocean.
The road took us from the ocean to the inland mountains:
And back to the ocean again:
Across some long valleys that touched the ocean:
Past farms right on the ocean (I wonder if the cows go swimming in the ocean.):
Over the Rogue River:
And past even more stacks:
Into California:
We are staying at the Sunset RV Park in Crescent City for a week. Lots of interesting things to see and do here so stay tuned for our next adventure.
Miles Traveled: 93 Miles
Routes Traveled:
Oregon: Cape Blanco Road; US-101
California: US-101; King Street

The foghorn started about 3 am and continued all day – oh my. I think I will need some earplugs…
Today was rainy and cold so we did a couple things around the motorhome. We trimmed the cat’s nails – let me tell you how much fun that was – LOL! Also gave Andy a haircut. I don’t need one yet, my last cut was way too short. (Jess, I miss you!) I also did some more grocery shopping. It seems like I do a lot of grocery shopping but…my freezer in the Bounder was bigger than my freezer at home. My freezer in this new one is 24” W by 18” H by 12” D. Small..let me tell you.. So we are limited on what we can carry.
Tomorrow will be sunny so we will be off to play tourist. Stay tuned and enjoy today.
