March 31, 2008 - Snow and Family

We left Toppenish this morning amid low hanging clouds:

And then it started to rain, then sleet, then snow.  As we got closer to Snoqualmie Pass, there were signs that we should put on chains…  (we don’t have chains for this!).  And we thought – Oh - 0h!!!   By the time we saw the signs it was too late to turn off anywhere safe so we pressed on up and over the pass.  Andy did a great job and stayed behind one of the trucks:

When we got to the bottom, they started to close the pass to get it cleaned..   It was an interesting ride!!!

We arrived at Sandy and Mike’s and met our great-granddaughter, Bailee Rae for the first time!!!

She is beautiful, isn’t she!
