April 22, 2009 – And Even More Snow

We woke this morning to even more snow and a layer of ice.  We walked up to the highway and it is a mess so we are staying today.

But it is beautiful:

 

The sun started to come out this afternoon and then peaked in and out all day.

So we spent our day relaxing, taking pictures, taking walks, beading, reading and of course, soaking in the Hot Springs.

Isn’t it just lovely.

It is so quiet here.  What has been interesting to me is that when the geese or ravens fly over head, you can hear their wings flapping (or is it the air thru their wings – :-)) – what a neat sound!

 

So tomorrow we head out again!
