We left our spot in Cameron and headed north/northeast. This part of the country has some jaw dropping scenery – some of it even looks prehistoric - !
So enjoy the view:
This formation is know as “Elephant Feet”:
Free roaming horses:
“Run, Forest, Run” (that is for you, Tina ). Actually, I think it was in this area that he stopped running.
WOW! WOW! and even more WOW!
We are staying in Sand Island Campground, a BLM Campground, south of Bluff, Utah. Our site is right next to the San Juan River for $5.00/night. We are so blessed!
After setting up, we headed into town to get propane, gas for the generator, and a few other items. We ended up going to Blanding, 20 miles away. – The scenery just continued – oh my.
Back home, we enjoyed a nice supper over the campfire – YUM! And watched the moon rise and the sun set!
We will be here for a while so stay tuned and enjoy today.
