Today was the final day of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and still magical. We went over to the field to help out with Mike’s crew and we were there early enough to watch the Dawn Patrol. But because of the wind direction, they did not launch. However, they still had the glow show on the ground – I have included a number of them in the pictures.
Because of the wind direction, Mike decided not to launch so we helped him pack up then watched a number of other balloons that did launch – Enjoy!!

Here we are:
And we had our final Happy Hour. Andy and I have met and got to know some great people here and I know we will be in touch and see each other again. (Did I say how much we enjoy the Escapee Club!). And hopefully we will do this again – :-)))
We were originally going to the Grand Canyon next but this insurance thing has us upset. So we have decided to clear this up first. Tomorrow we will head to the Tucson VA Medical Center and see what we need to do to get Andy registered and what benefits he can get. We will also be checking out our other options – for him and also for me (because I may be the next one looking for insurance.) Once we wrapped our brains around this and our emotions settled, we realized we have a number of options so for now we will be checking them out.
(Not to say we won’t be going to the Grand Canyon – if we clear this up within the next week we may be heading that way.)
Hey, life is an adventure, isn’t it!!!!
Until tomorrow.
