We took our time meandering along the Hood Canal on our way to Port Townsend. Some pictures from the road:
We arrived at the Evergreen Coho Escapee Park in Chimacum, WA. This is a SKP CO-OP park and it was on our list to check out and see how we liked it. It is a very nice park and the lots are large. However, many of the people have left for warmer weather so there are not a lot of activities at this time of year. We will be putting it back on our list for another time – in the summer.
We took a drive into the visitor’s center to get some information on the area and on the ferry to Whidbey Island. On our way back to the MH we ran into (almost) a funky bicycle ride. This shark is actually some type of bike. What a hoot.
Too bad we didn’t know about it – might have been fun to watch – LOL!
The weather is beautiful and will continue this week so stay tuned for more sightseeing.
