June 14th, 2024 Short Move

Today we left the Chena RV Park and settled at the Bear Paw RV Park - about one half mile away.

We hung out for a while and chatted with our neighbors.  They were next to us in Chicken - how fun!

We took a walk to the Brewery for linner (Lunch/dinner) and had a few of their brews and Halibut Bites from the food truck outside.  Very nice!

Took a little walk around town:

I think I will buy this Indian!

We had a fun time talking to some of the shop owners.  Many of them close shop in the winter and go south!

One final tidbit on Valdez:

I am so glad that we spent over a week here - what a great time. If you come to Alaska, Valdez should be one of your places to visit and stay a while.

Tomorrow we continue our journey on the Alaskan Marine Highway so stay tuned and enjoy today.
