We continued our travels today thru western Oklahoma:
Into:
Where the roads also go on forever (the road on the far right is part of the old Route 66):
This area of the country during this time of year has some beautiful shades of beige:
We went past Groom, Texas that has the leaning water tower:
And this huge cross:
Past Cadillac Ranch (we explored the area around Amarillo a few years ago – neat stuff here – :-)):
And wind mills – Oh My!:
Neat looking farms:
Wouldn’t you love to hear the stories that this house could tell?:
Hills in Western Texas:
An old gas station on Route 66:
And into….. New Mexico:
Where the mesas appeared:
In Santa Rosa, we got off the interstate and headed south on US-54 – Yippee!!! I love the “blue” roads!
Not much traffic:
Interesting scenery:
Love the face on this guy – he came near us when we were at the rest area:
Moon rise and sun set in Alamogordo, New Mexico where we stayed at the Moose – another great lodge :)
Enjoy today!
