Summer 2010

We have had an incredible summer at home visiting with friends and family – it was really good to see everyone.

On my mom’s side, we had a family reunion in July and a surprise 80th birthday party for my Aunt Betty in September.

We are very blessed to have such great friends and family and we have been very blessed to meet some great people along our journey.  We have been in touch with a number of friends and had some visitor’s this year.

We were super busy this summer, decluttering the house and getting rid of a lot of our stuff.  We did a HUGE yard sale (on one of the hottest days of the summer – oh my!).   We sold a lot, gave a lot to charity and next year will be giving more away (we missed a few of the charity events).   It is great to have a lot of room in the house.  And, no, we still have not decided to sell. :?)  LOL!

We could not get anything else in but now there is lots of room to park the cars and even do work.  (That goes for our basement too – LOL!!)

We also had some animal visitor’s this year.

We did have a neighborhood bear roaming around but I did not see him.

 

Our Dusty loved racing around the house and all the visitors – he just loved checking out new people, the visiting dogs, and even went nose to nose (saying “hello”) with the neighbor's lab.  He is amazing..

So our next adventure starts tomorrow.  Our first stop is Goshen, Indiana for the Escapee Rally and then west…
