Today was a short travel day from Mansfield to Van Wert and the scenery continues to amaze. The contrasting colors…oh my.
I just love old barns in the middle of the fields (can you tell – :-))). And this style is my favorite:
We arrived at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds as they were breaking down from their county fair which ended yesterday. We are in the back campground – full hookups for $12.75 (FMCA Discount) – can’t beat that. Here is our site:
Our neighbors are fellow Escapees, FMCA, and Elks – small world.
Andy and I checked out the town – some really neat old buildings - and made a stop at the local Wal-Mart (my second home – LOL!). And we had dinner at the local Elks lodge – very nice lodge.
We will be here until Saturday and may even do some sightseeing tomorrow so stay tuned!
