Tuesday, 8th, was our last travel day for a while – Yippee!! We have traveled quite a few miles in the past couple days. I think the two of us just wanted to be back in the lower 48.
The scenery the past two days is so different from when we came up in April. We have traveled thru lush forests, farm areas, and even desert type landscapes.
And the beautiful Frasier Valley:
And we won the lottery at customs – we were randomly (?) picked for a search – YEE HAW!! It went smooth – we were only held up for about 45 minutes and then left go. Elliot slept thru it all – :-))
What a welcome sign:
And we are now in the lower 48 – :-)) where gas and groceries are a WHOLE LOT CHEAPER!!!
We arrived at Sandy and Mike’s, our daughter and son-in-law, late afternoon. And had a wonderful time getting caught up with them and our grandchildren, Katie, Rick, and Chelsea, and our great- granddaughter, Bailey – can’t believe how big she is – almost walking – :-))). I promise pictures during our stay.
We will be here for a little while. We need to do some maintenance and cleaning of the MH and Tracker. I will not be updating every day so check back or sign up for email (see block top left) for our next updates – :-)))
What an incredible journey!
