November 3, 2021 Creation Museum

When I first checked into seeing the Ark Encounter, it was recommended that we also see the Creation Museum.  So today, that is exactly what we did.

About the museum:

“At the heart of the Creation Museum is a chronological retelling of biblical history in seven parts called the Seven C´s. Guests step back in time, beginning with Creation, and fast-forward to Christ´s return. Along the way, they see how God´s Word provides the big-picture answers for our most difficult questions, whether about science, the Bible, or our personal relationship with God.”

We arrived and walked thru the forest to the museum:

This big guy greeted us at the entrance:

We entered thru a hallway that contained many storyboards on Dragons, Dinosaurs, and the mention of them in the Old Testament.

The hallway opened up to this big area where we were greeted by the replica of a mastodon that was found in Ohio in 1989.  He was huge.

We watched a video in the theater called “6 Days” about the creation.  Special effects were amazing.

I am going to stop here and talk about two things.  1 -  The presentations, movies, storyboards and set ups were amazing and beautiful. 2 – All were shown in the light of Evolution vs Creation.  (For me it was too controversial.)

There was an incredible storyboard and presentation of conception thru birth.  Each stage looked so real..

We ended with another video, “The Last Adam.”  Awesome!

So my recommendation is see the Ark Encounter – well worth it.  If you go to the Creation Museum, look at it with an open mind.  And if you are old like us, don’t do both two days in a row.. So much information.

We made a few stops on the way home and relaxed the rest of the night.

Tomorrow we are hanging out at the park so stayed tuned and enjoy today.
