February 10 – 14 , 2011 North Ranch

February 10 - Thursday
We woke this morning to an almost flat tire on our Tracker so Andy inflated it and off to Wal-Mart to get it fixed.   Turns out we had a nail in it.   This happened to us last week – that time was a screw in the tire.   Hmmm, I need to watch where we are going.
After we said our goodbyes to Bill and Marcia, they headed to Mittry Lake and we headed first to Quartzsite, where we picked up more LED lights and other things.   Quartzsite has really emptied out in the past week.  From there we headed to Congress to the Escapee Park, North Ranch.   Full Hookups – YeeHah!!!  I am going to enjoy this next week – :-)))

February 11 – Friday
One of the main reasons we are here (besides full hookups) is to clean up our new Bounder and Tracker.   After living in the desert for a while, the dust and dirt is in everything.   Also with not feeling well, I did not do any cleaning.
So today, we started cleaning, organizing, throwing out, and giving away.   In Yuma, I got a new vacuum and it really SUCKS – and that is a GOOD thing – LOL!
In between, we were pleasantly surprised by visits from our neighbors – Ron and Elena (who we met at the Balloon Fiesta and last saw in Pahrump); Dick (who we met at the Balloon Fiesta also and last saw in Quartzsite); and Steve (who we last saw here in April 10).  It was great to see them all and hopefully will spend more time over the next week.
I also took a break to stop in at beading and see Cathy and the ladies – great to see them again and will definitely be at Tuesday’s class – :-))).


February 12 – Saturday
We went to the pancake breakfast this morning at the activity center – mmmmmm!!  :-))).   And continued to do cleaning and laundry and sorting, organizing, throwing out and giving away – :-)))
Steve stopped by after supper and it was great to get caught up with each other.


February 13 – Sunday
I FINALLY finished cleaning the inside – must have vacuumed about 10 pounds of dirt and dust – LOL!   Anyway, the inside looks great.   Andy finished up the Tracker and outside – we are looking nice!!!   And today I had a banner day with feeling real well – :-)))!
Still need to do a few other odds and ends (organizing and cleaning out some areas) but that will wait for tomorrow.


February 14 – Monday
Happy Valentine’s Day to all my family and friends – :-)))).    Andy and I are so blessed to have you in our lives.
This morning I am getting the blog caught up and also emails.    So if are waiting for an email from me and have not received one, please send me a reminder. 
Still feeling well, thank God for that – :-))).    Hey, I may even have some pictures later this week – :-)))
