November 3 - 4, 2022 Off We Go–Part 1

November 3, 2022 Travel to Clearlake Oaks

Well, last night we got winter storm warnings and high wind warnings starting Sunday.  The storm will be lots of snow to the Sierras and northern Nevada plus high winds and rain throughout Nevada from Sunday to Wednesday. 

So, we will have to put exploring Nevada to another time.

After dumping our tanks, off we went south then east.

Past the farms near the coast:

Thru the marine layer:

And up and over the coastal mountains:

Into Central California where we passed Clearlake:

The water is so low – how sad:

We are staying at the Moose Lodge in Clearwater Oaks, CA.  Water and Electric with a Dump Station.

After setting up, stopping in the Lodge, we relaxed and got ready for tomorrow.

November 4, 2022 Travel to Fernley, NV

Up early and away we went..

We did see a herd of elk but there was no where to pull over –

We made it to Fernley where we are staying at the Desert Rose RV Park.
