Today, we are the proud owners of……
Lot size is 35’ x 55’ with two sheds, nice finished patio, and gravel.
We are so excited!!!
Now does that mean we are coming off the road? Nope, but it gives us a place to store “stuff” as well as a place to settle in when we need it. Plus I love spending the holidays here – :-)).
We expect to be here until Friday, then head to Wickenburg until the end of the month. We will return here after that to do a few things (including “summerizing” the lot/sheds) before we start our wandering again.
Stay tuned and enjoy today.

Congrats on the lot! We'll look forward to seeing both of you when you return.
Congrats Diane and Andy! How exciting and we're looking forward to your return to the area.
Congratulations!!! I know about "winterizing" so what to you do to "summerize"? Will your lot be in a rental pool or will you manage guest requests?
Awesome, we hope to do that someday. There is a place here in IL that would be fantastic but of course it's closed for half the year because of Winter.

Good luck with the lot. It looks great. Its a great area.
Thanks all. Jan, see you the end of this month. Judy, still not totally sure but we were told since part of the sheds are wood, we need to have buckets of water inside for moisture, then treat for termites, and weeds in our gravel. Found out today that Preen is not sold because it needs rain to activate and there is not much rain (how funny...and should say to myself - duh! - since i use Preen all the time in PA and know it needs rain to activate - LOL). And yes, I will be in the rental pool. Erik, all you need to do is take that place where you live and then get another in the south - :-). We know lots of folks that do that. (And someday, we may do the same.)
Congratulations on the lot. Looks like a good base of operations. It looks a bit "exposed". What will you do for shade when it starts getting warm?
Hi Ron and Bonnie,
We will probably use our awning initially but looking into some sort of patio for the future. And we do intend to be out of there when it gets too hot - LOL!
Looks good! Other friends, Larry and Barb Seiger recently got a lot there also.
Thanks, Ann. We will look them up.. Safe travels.
