October 28, 2010 – Travel to Williams, Arizona

Our travels today took us thru the big cities of Tucson and Phoenix and up onto the Colorado Plateau.  I love this part of Arizona with the mountains, mesas and buttes – Stunning.  We went from 2000’ to over 6000’ in altitude – WOW!

Some pictures from the road:

A little windy near Casa Grande – stirring up some dust but not dust storms – Yea!

We made to Canyon Gateway RV Park in Williams, Arizona where we met up with our good friends, Bill and Shelly.  It is so good to see them – last time was in Alaska in August 2009.

We will be spending the next few days here getting caught up with each other and doing some sightseeing so stay tuned.
