February 27, 2009 to March 4, 2009 – Maintenance and Cleaning

On February 27th, we left Quartzsite and headed to Congress, AZ to North Ranch – an Escapee Rainbow Park. Some pictures along the way:

We have full hookups here and for the past few days we have been cleaning, washing, doing some maintenance, doing bills and taxes and computer backups and just getting caught up with everything.

We did get to one Happy Hour and were disappointed. Only one other person showed up and according to the activities director, that is how it is – how sad. We also went to one of the local towns, Yarnell, on Tuesday for Taco night (mmmmm!) at the local American Legion with our neighbor.

There is a beading group here that meets Tuesday and Friday and I was able to get to the Tuesday group and learn another type of bracelet. Great group of ladies and they make some incredible items with beads.

On Friday and Saturday, they are having “La Fiesta” – a Mardi Gras type festival. Andy and I signed up to be in the parade (Andy will be with the veterans and I will be with the Red Hats -:-)) There is also some other activities we will be doing so stay tuned.

And our Elliot is not feeling well so we have an appointment with a local vet tomorrow. I hope it is nothing serious.
