July 10, 2008 – A Beautiful Day in Vermont

We woke to blue skies and beautiful weather (cool, low humidity).

We went into town this morning to pick up a few items and a stop at the National Forest office for some information on hiking and camping.

After lunch, we decided to explore the campground on our bikes. Here are the rivers next to the campground:

There is a trail that leads to the dam from the campground. The first part is on an old railroad bed that was great for biking.

The last part of the trail is not good for bikes so we may walk it to the dam another time.

We spent the rest of the day enjoying the weather and the campfire.
