We had originally planned on going further south and coming up the eastern shores of Virginia but made the decision to go thru the DC traffic to save mileage (and gas). (Gas prices in VA have risen $0.40/gallon since we arrived here.)
We camped at Tuckahoe State Park in Maryland (another wonderful little gem). Here is our campsite:
Since it was such a beautiful day, we walked around the campground and took the trail to the Lake.
