July 8, 2008 – Travel to Vermont

Our travels today took us into the Green Mountains of Vermont:

The pictures are a little hazy due to the high humidity – as Andy would say it is hot, hazy, and humid. And we saw lots of moose crossing signs (Yipee – I may get to see another moose this trip!)

We are camped at Winhall Brook Camping Area run by the Army Corp of Engineers – another beautiful place. We do have electric and water hookup so we will be able to charge all our batteries as well as run the air conditioner.

After we set up, we checked out the rest of the campground and made our way to the dam (Ball Mountain). Sorry no pictures – forgot my camera. We could not find access to the lake so no kayaking there. We did, however, get information on other areas that we need to check out.

And another campfire night!!
