November 12th
Very early this morning, my Dusty got sick and awake I was. So after cleaning up, I decided to stay up and watch the sun rise over the Mississippi:
We packed up and continued our journey west – saying goodbye to the Mississippi and see you next year:
We passed farms and churches:
And trees and trucks:
Over many waterways and rivers – that are very full:
More trees and trucks:
Into Texas:
Where we are staying at Malden Lake Campground near Maud – an Army Corp Park – very nice:
After setting up we took a walk around the park:
Many vultures around – it was very interesting to watch them:
Apparently they hang around near the boat dock – fish cleaning area – lots to eat – !
We did a few things around the motorhome and then relaxed for the rest of the evening.
Stats for today:
Miles Traveled: 300 Miles
Arkansas: Loop Road; US-70; SR-118; I-40; I-440; I-30
Texas: I-30; US-59; US-67; SR-8

We woke to a very beautiful morning and made our way to the local laundry to do a few loads (cleaning yesterday’s mess) – our Dusty is much better today – YEA!
We enjoyed the rest of the day at our campfire in the woods:
Tomorrow we continue our journey so stay tuned and enjoy today.
Haven't stayed at that park yet. It looks very nice.
