March 27, 2008 - Another Scenic Day in CA

We left Yuba City and headed north. We went from the valley:



Passed by Shasta Lake:

And Mount Shasta:

Mount Shasta is one of the mountains on the Ring of Fire - just like Mount Redoubt in Alaska that is still an active volcano.

We are camped at the Butte Valley Wildlife Area near Macdoel, CA. Can you believe this:
