November 25, 2012 – Lake Elk City

What a nice relaxing day we had here at Lake Elk City – the weather was just perfect! Not yet T-shirt but pretty darn close.  Happy

Our site:

 11-25-12 A Elk City Lake Park 001

Elk City Lake Park has 5 RV sites with 30 AMP Service.  Water is available near the sites.  It was built between 1967 and 1970 for flood control and erosion.  But over the last few years the lake continues to go down.  So sad:

And many birds:

And some huge fresh water clam shells:

An interesting amphitheater:

And many trees that grow this way… (must be windy more days than not).

The RV Area has 5 spots.  We are on the left:

So glad we took today to just take it easy.  We were here last year and took in the great museums in town.
