October 10-12, 2011 - Just Hanging Out

On Monday morning, we said our goodbyes and made our way to the Enchanted Trails RV Park where we spent the next 3 days cleaning, laundering, bill paying, shopping, etc. etc.  (Every so often, we need to do that – LOL.)   It was great to have full hookups again – LOL!

On Wednesday, we spent some time with Pennie and Dave who came in on Tuesday and also spent some time with our neighbor, Don, who is a new full timer.

Tomorrow, Thursday we will be heading up to Cochiti Lake for more down time and then maybe some sightseeing so stay tuned.

Stats for the 10th:

Miles Traveled: 19 Miles

Routes Traveled:

New Mexico: Alameda Blvd NE; I-25 S; I-40 W; I-40 Frontage Road (Historic Route 66)

Absolutely love Cochiti Lake and the surrounding area. Spent my birthday there last year! Sure hope you got to Tent Rocks and saw the slot canyon. Also the drive to Los Alamos via backroads (we have a jeep) is great fun. You can't beat the price!
