December 1, 2008 – On the Road Again

We are off on another great adventure and very thankful that we are so blessed to be able to do this.

We left home this morning around nine with the sun shining. Some rain, some sunshine and some snow flurries followed us.

We traveled by one of our favorite places – Shenandoah National Park – and felt the tug to go up the mountain. If you follow the blog, we usually start our journeys with a visit to that park. But, alas, too cold this time of year. So I have some pictures of the mountains along the way:

It didn’t take long for Elliot to get use to the ride. Here he is stretched out on the floor as we are traveling:

We did see two accidents involving tractor trailers. The interstate was shut down for a while so they could move one of the trucks. We hope that no one was hurt.

Our day ended at a Wal-Mart in Roanoke, VA.

Until tomorrow.

Well, not to far away. Hopefully the skies will be clear for awhile. Don't get too cold!
